FGen is an emerging Swiss company that combines biological engineering, such as synthetic biology, metabolic engineering, or non-GMO methods, with high throughput screening to design and optimize cells for biotechnological applications. Key to this process is FGen’s proprietary nanoliter-reactor (NLR) platform that enables the phenotypic screening of cell libraries at rates of more than 1 million clones per day, thereby surpassing multi-well plate systems by orders of magnitude.

Established in 2017 in the Netherlands, UV Smart’s products are sold in over 20 countries.
Lipotype is a spin-off from the Max-Planck-Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics in Dresden, Germany. Its mass spectrometry-based lipidomics technology identifies and quantifies more than 4200 individual lipids. Their technology works on high throughput scale but requires only minimal sample amounts. Lipotype recently incorporated in the US and opened their first commercial office in Cambridge, MA.

Founded in 2000, PlasmidFactory GmbH is a leading contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) of plasmid and minicircle DNA, providing plasmids and related products to many major national and international customers working in the areas of gene and cell therapy, CAR-T cell development, and genetic vaccination.
