FGen is an emerging Swiss company that combines biological engineering, such as synthetic biology, metabolic engineering, or non-GMO methods, with high throughput screening to design and optimize cells for biotechnological applications. Key to this process is FGen’s proprietary nanoliter-reactor (NLR) platform that enables the phenotypic screening of cell libraries at rates of more than 1 million clones per day, thereby surpassing multi-well plate systems by orders of magnitude.

HTI-automation is a specialist for the standardization of laboratory and production processes in order to change from ergonomically strenuous and monotonous manual work to the fully automatic processing of your tubes. For over 20 years HTI has been committed to the automation of tube and liquid handling including: Tube Capping / Decapping – Filling / Dispensing / Pipetting – Labelling – Cooling – IPC – Database connection. 

SIRION Biotech was founded in 2005 with the goal to spark a new generation of viral vector technologies for gene and cell therapy as well as vaccine development. SIRION evolves novel therapeutic viral vectors and uses proprietary technology platforms based on lenti-, adeno-, and adeno-associated viruses to expedite its partners’ advances in drug development.

SSS International Clinical Research started in 1993 in Germany. To date with its over 50 employees they have successfully run more than 250 clinical trials in 15 countries covering over 20 different indications. Clients are Big Pharma (4 out of top ten), Biotech, Diagnostics and Medtech companies. SSS is a full-service provider covering all aspects of clinical research.

UV Smart Technologies creates and provides validated, fast, safe and easy to use UV-C disinfection solutions to minimize the spread of sickening microorganism via (noncritical and semi critical) medical instruments and devices within healthcare facilities. Established in 2017 in the Netherlands, UV Smart’s products are sold in over 20 countries. 

Lipotype is a spin-off from the Max-Planck-Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics in Dresden, Germany. Its mass spectrometry-based lipidomics technology identifies and quantifies more than 4200 individual lipids. Their technology works on high throughput scale but requires only minimal sample amounts. Lipotype recently incorporated in the US and opened their first commercial office in Cambridge, MA.

METRONOMIA Clinical Research is an expert CRO for biostatistical consulting, biostatistical services and clinical data management with HQ in Munich, Germany, founded in 1990. They offer high-quality clinical research services to pharmaceutical, medical device and biotech industry. Over 110 highly skilled experts work diligently on customer projects of every clinical stage in all major therapeutic areas. KyooBe Tech is an emerging engineering company focusing on the development of innovative manufacturing platforms, that drives the pharmaceutical production of tomorrow. With an interdisciplinary team of motivated engineers and biotechnologists, they develop high-quality technological solutions for biological challenges in vaccines and cell and gene therapy.

Founded in 2000, PlasmidFactory GmbH is a leading contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) of plasmid and minicircle DNA, providing plasmids and related products to many major national and international customers working in the areas of gene and cell therapy, CAR-T cell development, and genetic vaccination.
